Javascript is the new black (again)!

So, after discovering FlashObject the other day, I've been realizing that in the past few years, while I've been completely ignoring Javascript, it's developed into a very powerful beast for building web applications, especially retrieving data from a server or otherwise changing the page without initiating a page refresh in the user's browser.

I'm going to be experimenting with this for my portfolio and will keep you all apprised of how it's going!
